The Ophthalmology Department of JST Hospital has a dedicated and highly-experienced team of ophthalmologists, nurses and technicians.
We provide a variety of excellent eye care services to more than 40,000 patients annually. Our ophthalmologists and optometrists are able to offer expert care for both routine and complex eye diseases and conditions. We are skillful at providing medical and surgical treatments for the full spectrum of eye diseases, especially in cornea diseases, uveitis, glaucoma, cataract, diseases of lacrimal passages, refractive error, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment and other retina diseases. We also have rich experiences in laser vision correction, plastic surgery, and curing of blunt and penetrating injuries, chemical burns and other eye or orbital trauma.
The department is fully equipped with the latest diagnostic and surgical technologies, such as HRT, Pentacam, VEP/ERG, UBM, HRA+OCT, multi-wavelength laser instrument, ultrasonic cataract emulsification instrument, vitrectomy instrument, excimer laser vision correction system, etc.
We also offer ophthalmology courses to students in Peking University. Tens of medical students and visiting physicians are trained in our department every year.
