Under their training, TCM professors of the next generations such as Lin Zhu, Yang Yuhua have been cultivated and this team has continuously strengthened after more than 60 years’ development. In current time, the department has senior TCM doctors team with combination of modern medical knowledge and traditional Chinese methods.
The major treatment method of TCM is decoction of Chinese Medicine (including Chinese patent drug) that covers a wide range. It is efficacious in the field of the internal medical diseases(including the diseases of cardio cerebral vascular, digestive system, respiratory system, urinary system, endocrine system, rheumatic immune system and senile disease), gynecological disease, skin disease, osteoporosis, sub-health state, aseptic necrosis of bone and so on. The treatment characteristics of TCM is individuation and emphasize the syndrome differentiation. It is effective and low cost, and has smaller side-effect and especially for the sub-health population.
There are 14 doctors in the TCM department recently, including 4 chief doctors, 3 deputy chief doctors, 5 attending doctors and 2 resident doctors. The treatment groups have been set up, especially for the diseases of osteoporosis, pediatrics, affective disorder and metabolic syndrome.
