Beijing Jishuitan Hospital vascular surgery has achieved perfect success although it is one of the youngest departments in our hospital. Benefiting from the rapid development of vascular surgical high-tech technology, basing on the Hospital’s strong technical resources, accumulating more than 50 years of expertise, using the world-class professional platform and being supported by many colleagues, the department has achieved a perfect success after more than 10 years of hard wording and innovation. Now we can performe a series of comprehensive clinical operations and maintaining the tradition. We have been widely praised and recognized by the peers. We already have lots of memberships such as vascular surgery of Beijing Medical Association, wound healing associatin, Vascular and endovascular surgery of Beijing Medical Association, Vascular Surgery of Beijing Integrative Medicine Society, vascular tissue engineering and vascular surgery of Chinese Medical Association and Vascular Surgery of Chinese Medical Association Society.
The department owes 14 beds, a vascular examination room, interventional division and integrated operating room which was relatively earlier in Beijing and can carried out minimally invasive "hybrid" surgery. Peripheral vascular surgery includes a comprehensive variety of surgeries. Various diseases such as aortoiliac aneurysm, arteriosclerosis, visceral artery, carotid artery, limb arteriovenous have been healed with a routine treatment. More than three thousand cases are complete each year. The revascularization of vascular injure is in a leading position in the joint efforts and support of relevant departments and. Key project of this century is Thromboembolism Prevention which has been made great progress with developed high-risk population screening process. We also communicate with European and American experts several times a year and find that part of the treatment is far ahead of the level of developed countries.
