B) Training Activities

I) Intra-departmental

As there are eight orthopaedic subspecialties and each has one or more wards, they have their own training timetables respectively which generally are same in contents and frequency.

Inter-departmental

a) Monthly Saturday Inter-hospital Meeting

We do not put up any clinical duties on Saturday morning, so that majority of our staffs can take active participation in this important educational activity.

b) Didactic Lectures

Satisfactory attendance in didactic lectures is a basic requirement for the trainees. The yearly didactic lecture list for orthopaedic trainees and fellows is available in the appendix

c) Clinical Tutorials

Small group clinical tutorials have been organized by subspecialty departments. Every trainee has to attend the tutorials each year.
