Beijing Traumatology and orthopaedics Research Institute was founded in June 1959, shortly after the foundation of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital.
The institute consists of 8 labs and an experimental animal feeding room.

3. Bone Tissue Engeneering Lab.
4. Cell Culture lab.,
